

Blake

Blake has been working in the community services sector, particularly with disabilities, for over a thirteen years. Blake is currently employed as a Counsellor with the Department of Education, working on projects to support children’s mental health. Blake is continually developing his skills and education through university studies, he has completed his Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in community welfare and human services and has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Not-For-Profit and Social Enterprise Management.

Josh

Josh has been working in the health, wellbeing, fitness and sporting industry for more than 10 years. Josh has also worked as a Disability Support Worker in both group and individual settings. In these roles he was a mentor for adolescents and young adults looking to gain essential life skills whilst enhancing their physical and mental health. Josh is a qualified Nutritionist, Personal Trainer and Mental Performance Coach who seeks to bring confidence, self-esteem, health and happiness to all whom he works with. Outside of health and fitness, Josh is a loving father to his incredibly active son who loves to jam with friends on the drums. Josh continually seeks opportunities that help him improve areas of his life and ways he can support others in achieving their goals.

Paul

Paul has been a Disability Support Worker for around 6 years and during this time he has predominantly supported people living with schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder and specialises with autism. Paul is devoted to and passionate about helping people and people love his company too. Paul is grateful for and enjoys the opportunity to learn more about humour, empathy and kindness when working with NDIS participants.

Talia

Talia is a Social Worker and helps homeless youth find stable accommodation whilst building up their life skills to gain independence so they can avoid being in the same position in the future. Talia has been studying and working for years and excited to do this sort of work, to build NDIS participant's life skills. Talia is very accepting and patient, she takes care with her approach when working with people of all backgrounds and is very connected to her community.

Mark

Mark is a High School Teacher who specialises in mathematics, he has completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, most recently a Masters of Teaching and has a decade of experience to go with this. Mark has recently held a role with the Mathematical Association of NSW where he would be developing and delivering professional learning events education leaders across the state. Mark exhibits an apparent passion for education at all times, with the enthusiasm to learn, collaborate and promote best practice in both an engaging and innovative manner. Mark knows how to get the best out of students and understands how the brain works, he carries himself with a very positive outlook on life.

Jesse

Jesse first started working in the community services sector in 2014. Jesse has run anger management classes for teenage boys and has experience working with NDIS participants, disadvantaged youth, children in the juvenile justice system and permanency support program. Jesse is currently a case worker for homeless teenagers supporting them with their goals and life skills. Jesse has a calm demeanour and is motivated to make all people feel comfortable enough to ask questions when he is working with them.

Ryan

Ryan is an educator and outdoor enthusiast. He has worked in a range of educational settings for the past eight years including schools and the juvenile justice system. Ryan is a big believer in connecting with people and creating positive change. He is well versed when it comes to the foundational needs that a young person has and the challenges they face when learning. Ryan's love for learning, particularly history, resulted in him completing an Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree in Education at Macquarie University.
